These are the standard rules for Pox Portal Tournaments. Keep in mind that the rules for each individual tournament will be listed on the actual tournament page for that tourney. If the rules say standard, then these will be the rules by default:

Standard Dow settings, no altering the settings unless called for
You may switch decks mid tourney so long as it fits within the tourney rules.
General Rules that will always pertain:
1. Be on time, but no more then 15 mins late
2. If you go linkdead, you have 15 mins to return
3. You must submit loss when you lose
4. You can begin as early as you want as soon as the tourney is locked and pairings are shuffled, but be sure a TD is online in order to verify in case someone breaks rules and needs disqualified. If you both feel you can trust each other, then go ahead and go without us but in the event there is a dispute we will go based off what the game history says.
5. Meet in Casual Play by the start time. First player in the pairings listed is the one who creates the game.
6. In case of any problem, contact a TD.
7. Make sure you contact the TD or moderator that created the tourney if you have any specific questions about that tourney. That person is also responsible for awarding the prizes.
8. You can sign up for multiple tourneys at once, but keep in mind its at your own discretion. We dont mind if you lose and get shut out of a tourney if you want to catch the next one before it closes but we want to avoid having people sign up for all of them at once and then only being able to play in half of their games. In some cases, tourneys may exceed 2 hours and you might still have to forfeit if they overlap. I wont be holding up any tournaments for people that are caught up in one thats lasting longer then expected. Heres a small chart to follow to allow yourself enough time. Keep in mind this is only average times and still might exceed whats posted:
8 person - 2 hours
16 person - 3 hours
32 person - 4 hours
64 person - 5 hours
9. Disqualification Rules: At the begging of the tourney and at the beginning of each additional round there will be a 10 minute timer. If you notice your opponent isnt on when this timer starts then inform a TD once the 10 minutes have expired and the TD calls out for dq report. Please msg the TD with the name of your opponent. If the player isnt online he is DQed. If the player is online and not responding then they have 5 mins to respond or they are DQed.
10. Constant DQs or entering tourneys without showing up for them will be recorded and temporary tourney bans starting at 1 week and going all the way upto permanent tourney bans will be handed out as necessary. If you dont make constant habit of it we wont penalize you but TDs will have the power to flag accounts with warnings and help cut down on people filling up space that arent sure they will attend. This should help cut down on the no show rate.
11. Warnings: All TDs have the power to handout warnings to people through pox portal which you can view in your profile. These will be handed out to people who repeatedly sign up and dont show up for their tourney matches. After 3 warnings, you will receive a 2 day ban from the tourney system and wont be able to participate in any tourneys during that time. Additionally, after 6 warnings you get 7 day ban, 10 warnings gets you a 14 day ban and >10 gets you 300 day ban. Please make sure to show up for your matches if you take a seat. If you sign up and later realize you cant make it or something comes up last minute, please notify the TD listed on the tourney you signed up for. We will be implementing a way to remove warnings later for those with good attendance but this system is mainly in place because some people decide to join every tourney regardless of their availability and then they dont show.
